A New Start

Yesterday I made a difficult decision. I decided to open up about my personal struggles to a social media world full of people I had never even met. This may seem ridiculous or even stupid to some, but it has changed my view on both my own feelings and social media in general.

Thanks to the amazing support I have received, I have decided to start this blog. I hope I can help others like me, and even just provide yet another source of villa content.

Dont know what this will be like, or if it will even work!

  2. Congratulations, Tom. Of course it will work. You just have to keep doing it, be true to yourself – and people will want to know what you think about the Villa.

You’ve started with some very nice pictures. Iconic images of our ground. It really is a beautiful sight as you approach Aston Hall up the hill on the left and the Holte ahead.

I shall be looking out for each entry.

  3. A very moving piece Tom. I hope it’s restored a little faith in humanity. Social media can be an unforgiving place at times, but on this occasion, very much a life affirming experience. Small steps my friend, with this blog I believe you are on your way.

  5. Great read mate. 1 in 3 suffers from some sort of mental health issues and i am one of those people. People cope with their issues in different ways, mine was through drink many years ago and now I cope by talking to others who have issues themselves. Just got to pick a goal you want to achieve and go for it. Always think positively amf and never never been ashamed of your mental health issues. And always remember you have a villa family right behind you. UTV
